who is phil and why is he here?
Philippe was born in a quiet and peaceful country, known for its delicious chocolates, precision timepieces and beautiful landscapes, Switzerland was a wonderful place for Philippe to sprout his roots.
After having lived 5 years in his birthplace of St.Gallen and spending some time in the mountains of Graubünden, Philippe went west to sunny San Diego, America's finest city.
15 years of child's play, schooling, and life's adventures later ... Philippe is a year old aspiring designer.
My academic goal is to earn a bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction in order to fulfill a professional goal of developing user interfaces and working in the realm of human-machine interaction.

Technical
- Extensive knowledge of various web development languages such as (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Experience working with database technologies such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment and various Microsoft applications such as Office 12.
- Strong familiarity with modern computer components and system architecture as well as a skilled builder.
Social
- Tolerant and accepting personality.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Over 4 years’ experience in direct customer service.
- Team leadership experience in Swiss Air Force.
Artistic
- Skilled user of graphics editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Over 2 years’ experience in print media design including advertising.
